The role of School Health Support Services is to coordinate available services for children with special physical and medical needs in order that they may attend and participate in school including home school and private school, while receiving the treatment support they need.
Discharge occurs when the programming is in place and/or service is no longer required.
Service and discharge criteria are based on provincial benchmarks.
