About the OACCAC

Who We Are

The OACCAC, a not-for-profit corporation, was established in 1998 to represent the common interests of the then-43 CCACs. These 43 offices were subsequently aligned with the LHINs (Local Health Integration Network) and there are now 14 CCAC offices across the province.

Who We Serve

Community Care Access Centres are comprised of 14 local CCAC organizations across the province to manage local care. CCACs are funded and legislated by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, and are connectors to home care, long-term care destinations, and other services in your community.

Working hand-in-hand with CCACs, the OACCAC delivers high-quality products and services that support and assist our members in helping people find their way through Ontario's health-care system. We also assists our members in developing innovative, cost-effective ways to provide people with the care they need when they need it.
