Help with Elder Abuse
Elder abuse takes many different forms, including physical, emotional, sexual and financial abuse or neglect, and may occur in the home, a residential setting or in the community. Knowing the signs of abuse can help protect the elderly. If you suspect someone you know is being abused, or if you or someone you love needs help, there are resources available in your community.
Family Services Perth-Huron - Senior's Program (Huron and Perth Counties)
Information and services to seniors and families with regard to decisions in changing accommodation, legal and financial issues and counselling. Additional services include advocacy, public education workshops and presentations, and counselling to caregivers and children of seniors. Provides elder abuse assist and referral.

24 hour confidential and non-judgmental telephone support for seniors and their caregivers needing to talk to someone. Discusses options and makes referrals to other appropriate agencies if necessary.

Seniors Advocacy & Awareness Network (Bruce and Grey Counties)
