The South West Local Health Integration Network is one of 14 LHINs across Ontario as part of an overall strategy to transform health care. Free, confidential access to registered nurses trained to help individuals decide about appropriate options for care. Provides health advice or general health information. Callers can be connected to medication information and health information audiotapes.
A consumer health website operated by the provincial government. A source of health and medical information, health care services available in Ontario, prescription drug information, health assessment tools, advice for healthier living and links to other Ontario health and wellness websites.

Public Health Units provide programs that protect and improve the health of the community through comprehensive efforts to prevent, control and eradicate communicable disease; eliminate environmental health hazards; and recognize, prevent and control occupational health hazards and illnesses.
