Melody Miles, Chief Executive Officer
Melody Miles is an accomplished health care executive who has held leadership positions with a variety of community based health care organizations, including service provider agencies
and public health. From 2002–2006, Melody was the executive director of the Hamilton CCAC and prior to that was chief executive officer of the Etobicoke CCAC from 1997-2002.
For a time, she held dual appointments with both Hamilton and Etobicoke CCACs. She holds MBA, BComm, BScN and BA degrees. Throughout her professional career, Melody has chaired or participated in numerous provincial and local committees and boards with a focus on accountability, e-health, procurement, collaborations and clinical practice.

Darlene Arseneau, Vice President, Corporate Services
Darlene Arseneau is a chartered accountant with more than 20 years experience. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. Prior to joining the HNHB CCAC, Darlene was a member of the Hamilton CCAC senior team for over five years, as vice president responsible for Finance and Information Systems. Before joining Hamilton CCAC, she held the position of chief internal auditor at McMaster University.

Barbara Busing, Vice President, Clinical Operations
Barbara Busing was most recently the executive director (Acting) and the vice president of Operations of the Hamilton CCAC. She has worked in the home care sector since 1993. Prior to joining Hamilton CCAC, Barbara worked at the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and was the founding executive director of the Brain Injury Services of Hamilton. She is a member of the College of Occupational Therapy of Ontario, and holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree from McGill University and a Master of Education degree from Brock University.

Thomas Peirce, Vice President, Strategy, Quality & Performance Management
Thomas Peirce served as the executive director of the Elgin CCAC from 2002 - 2006. He joined the CCAC sector in July 2001 as the chief executive officer of the CCAC for Huron. Tom led the psychiatric hospitals divestment process for the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care from 1998 through 2001 and was the director of Planning and Hospital Services for the Willett Hospital in Paris, Ontario from 1990 through 1998. Tom holds a BA degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA degree from McMaster University.
