Pediatric Care

The goal of in-home pediatric services is to provide health and personal support services to children, youth (up to 18 years of age) and their families. These services support those with short and long-term disabilities or other special needs in their home setting.

Pediatric in-home services are based on individual needs of the patient and may include:

  • Nursing
  • Personal Support
  • Physiotherapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Dietician Services
  • Speech Therapy
  • Social Work
  • Respite Care
  • Palliative Care
  • Information and Referral Services
  • Co-ordination of Services

When a child is receiving both in-home and school health support services, the plan of care is coordinated to meet the patient and family's needs.
