CCAC holds fifth Annual General Meeting.pdf

The local Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) held its fifth Annual General Meeting in Kingston on June 27.

The meeting kicked off with an informative presentation on the status of alternate level of care patients (ALC) in the South East by Laurie French, Senior Manager of Access with the South East CCAC. A home first approach to reducing ALC rates means that if a patient came from home, they should expect to return home if it is safe to do so.
